What made you choose to research this particular artist? What did you find most interesting about them? What reaction did you first have when you viewed their work? What is you absolute favorite photograph from this artist (Explain why)? What I love about Phillip Jones Griffiths work is how he shot all his photos in black and white which made it more impactful and powerful for the viewer to look at.I choose this artist because I was intrigued by his photos of the Vietnam war.I was so drawn to his work that I had to look him up. My first initial reaction was how he must have felt after shooting the images. I wonder if any of the images scarred him in any way whether physically or emotionally. My favorite photograph from his is the Bomb Crater in South Vietnam 1968. What I love about this photo is the size of the crater and how gigantic it is compared to the man crouching down in the puddle.
''Even if not a single picture is never published, they exist. And that means that we are recording the history of the human race. If that's all your doing, it still a very very worth while profession to be involved in.''
